Today we’d like to introduce you to Emerald Weber.
Emerald, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my business in November 2021. I’ve been modeling since I was 16 years of age. I am 28 years old now. I wanted to start a modeling school so I can teach men, women, and kids how to start off their modeling careers. I also teach them how to boost their confidence and self-esteem. I just started off modeling by taking photos with different photographers when I was 16. Then I started to get asked to do hair shows/fashion shows competition-wise. Each time I won first place. Then I went on to look for different gigs and some were an epic fail. From me being scammed more than I was being booked.
So then I started modeling with Bellah Modeling Agency for a couple of years. In 2020 I became Bellah Modeling Agencies Assistant walking coach. During this time I also started my boutique so I could learn the ins and outs of the fashion shows and how the designer’s part modeling works. Lastly, I then started my modeling school in 2021.
Where I am today I am still so proud of myself but still have more work to do. I have built up my team and I am just looking for at least 10-20, more models to join DTM by the end of the year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. From people trying to sue me to me having to almost sue some models. There have been sleepless nights and a lot of stressful days. But my good days outweigh my bad days.

I own a Modeling School, I am a walking coach, model coordinator, single mom of three, and a Job File Coordinator/administrative assistant at Servrpo. I am known for being DOPE The Model. Which stands for (D) determined (O) optimistic (P) photogenic (E) Emerald.
I am proud of taking the steps to become a business owner. I always said when I was younger I’m going to own my business. What sets me apart from others is I am different in so many ways. I don’t dress the same as anyone or act the same as anyone.
What matters most to you?
My kids matter most to me. They are my heart and motivation.
