Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Dolan.
Matthew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2013 I was suffering from debilitating knee pain and needed to find something to provide relief so I could rehabilitate and get back to training and playing sports. I stumbled upon a long-forgotten natural remedy for joint and muscle pain called Pine Pollen and began applying to my knees with great results. I shared the remedy with my personal training clients but a little more than half found relief. In 2016 upon recommendation of a friend I applied an age-old remedy known as castor oil to my knees in conjunction with pine pollen for even greater results. Fast forward 3 yrs. to 2019 and my knees had fully recovered as a result of my formula and I rolled my ankle very badly in a basketball tournament and upon recommendation of another trainer interested it with turmeric and essential oils. This worked remarkably well and I was recovered in half the time in would normally take to return from a grade 3 ankle sprain. I then became experimenting with different ratios of pine pollen, castor oil, and 8 different essential oils to fine-tune the formula and beta test with clients and friends who were all getting good results, and this final product would become known as Ai3 Joint and Muscle Pain Relief and Recovery Formula.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The main struggle is branding an unknown product to the general public and getting the product out into the marketplace. With a small marketing budget and self-funding, the business has relied upon word of mouth and testimonials from clients.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Aside from inventing Ai3 Joint and Muscle Pain Relief and Recovery formula I am a personal trainer and yoga teacher. This background has enabled me to make a difference in people’s lives, help them lose weight, become stronger, fitter and lift them out of pain with exercise, yoga, and Ai3
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I’ve learned the value of digital marketing to reach a wider market particularly in the times gyms and yoga studios were closed.
