Rising Stars: Meet Krysten Loaiza

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krysten Loaiza.

Hi Krysten, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I have always had a special place in my heart for Greenville. It’s where I met my husband and felt like my life began. I started visiting different places in Greenville and sharing my experiences with people via social media. What started as fun became a place of community and knowledge for people to learn about this city. I’ve since turned my page into a personal page where I still share many things I love about our beautiful city and tips to help people thrive.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
Not. There have been so many challenges along the way. I’ve had to have tough conversations; initially, it was a grind. I’ve gone through changes personally and professionally and had to figure many things out. Through all of these changes, though, I have grown and gained knowledge that has brought me to where I am today, and I’m so grateful.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a local influencer specializing in health, beauty, style, and Greenville. I also work with a local female entrepreneurship coach at The BRIMM, and my husband and I also own a production company called Pro Bros Productions. I always tell people, “people will love you, and people will hate you but never let either one change who you are.” I have remained true to myself through everything, and am most proud of that. What sets me apart is my authenticity and love for entrepreneurship. Becoming an entrepreneur and creative has completely changed my life, and I am so grateful.

What was you like growing up?
Growing up, I was pretty shy. I didn’t like talking to people or being in big crowds, but I was always nice to people. Growing up, I also loved fashion and makeup – not much has changed! I truly think that helped me develop most of the social skills I have today – just being nice to people.
