Rising Stars: Meet Elijah Myers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah Myers.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started playing music a couple of years ago after my grandfather passed.

I think that was my biggest inspiration when starting out. I found my new best friend in my guitar and ever since then I’ve been pushing myself to do bigger and better things from playing at A LOT of breweries, bars, and wineries to recording my own original music.

I just try to do my own thing and live on with faith that it will work out.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is ever smooth, there are obstacles and roadblocks everywhere you go that make you have to redirect, but with that happening you always end up being right where you need to be.

My mom always says “it’s funny how things work out when things don’t work out.” And those words are truly more than they aren’t.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an acoustic musician and songwriter. I’m very proud of my original music and I feel it will have a greater impact on the than it does now in the future. Maybe, I’m just a dreamer but there are worse things to be.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can contact me through my Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Email, you can support me by listening to my music on streaming platforms and following me on social media.
