Meet Tiffany Anderson of Greenville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Anderson.

Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I started my business in 2016 (right after I got married). At the time, I was a nanny and started to realize I wanted to write again as I did in college. Nannying was burning me out, and I wanted to create more with my life. My father-in-law gave me a book called “The Copywriter’s Handbook,” and I dug into it and thought, “Hey, I could do this.” I worked to get my EIN, LLC and started taking side gigs for writing in my spare time. It took me a few months, but I built an impressive portfolio with multiple writing styles. Today I primarily work with B2C businesses and love helping them tell their unique stories. My favorite thing is watching a business come to life and grow!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a bumpy road, honestly! Freelancing and entrepreneurship come with a lot of heartache and frustration (when will I find a new client? Where will my next paycheck come from? etc.). Owning a business has forced me to learn better time management, how to focus my energy, and how to take each day as it comes. In the difficult seasons, I have to remind myself that I’m still trying, and that’s half the battle.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a copywriter and marketer specializing in long-form content, including but not limited to blogs, articles, case studies, white papers, websites, newsletters, and anything else you can put words on. My passion is helping businesses grow and giving them the time to do what they do best. A fun fact about me is that I was homeschooled growing up, which gave me a thirst for knowledge and understanding. I’m a curious learner who desires to know how things work and operate and how I can improve them. When I first started copywriting, I realized I had a knack for consolidating words into bite-sized chunks. Whenever someone in the family has a grammar question, I’m the one they ask. My best friend calls me a human grammar app once in a while, and I secretly love it. I’m proud that, even when I was told it wasn’t worth it, I started my business from the ground up. I still have the pieces of paper where I wrote down my “Tiffany Writes Business Plan” in 2016. My heart for people and seeing them succeed sets me apart from others. Because when my clients win, we all win.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I grew up with a lot of acreages and was a constant explorer. Whenever I had the chance, I was outside with my animals, exploring our property. My horses were my favorite entertainment source, and I rode them every opportunity I got! Besides that, I loved carrying around my tape recorder, telling myself “stories,” and saving them. My fascination with storytelling started very young!
