Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Warren.
Hi Taylor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always had a passion for fashion. I knew at a young age I wanted to be in the fashion industry. I knew that I wanted to dress for my day. I didn’t know what my role would be, but I knew that I had to be in the industry in some type of way. I would always go shopping and couldn’t exactly what I needed or what I felt spoke to me. There was a barrier in the fashion industry, that I felt was missing locally. After many years of late-night ideas, and in the middle of the pandemic, I birthed The Look Boutique.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth? Not at all. Insanely bumpy? Not at all. Most of my struggles were finding the balance. I needed to find the balance with my everyday life, between being a mom and still working a 9 to 5 job. I also needed to find the balance of how I wanted the boutique to look. I wanted perfection, but nothing is perfect. I think we have this idea of waiting until something is perfect to be satisfied, but it is more of a mindset. Mainly the challenges I faced were shifting my mindset.

We offer clothing that bridges the gap. We want to offer inclusive and exclusive clothing that builds your wardrobe with functional pieces. As women, we don’t always want to commit ourselves to certain styles of clothing. So we understand the need to be able to switch your style, but remain feminine. We want to give women fashion-forward styles and be able to elevate their look. Getting dressed shouldn’t be a hard task, so we want to make sure your wardrobe is filled with timeless staple pieces that you can utilize in different ways.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Everyone who is around me has played a role in the success! I can not thank one without the other, they push me to keep going and let me know how I’m doing, and offer honest feedback. I definitely could not have made it this far without the wonderful customers, who many have become friends. My customers keep me going as well, I love to see when they love their items, and exhibit confidence in their clothing.
