Meet Sasha Patton of Tidy AF

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Patton.

Sasha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My first passion is supporting others – with a close runner-up being adding order and beauty to everyday life. Helping others find peace in their space is rewarding work. Chaos is uncomfortable, I get it. Organizing is a labor of love for me. I wanted a business name that expressed my sense of humor but also described what I do. Tidy AF is an accurate way to describe the way I aspire to live.

My family and I landed in Greenville last summer after selling our home in Albuquerque, NM, and spending nearly a year on the road in our RV. We knew almost immediately this was the right place for us.

Organizing and interior design have always been part of who I am as an individual. After remodeling two houses with my partner Eric, all while starting a family and teaching visual art in public schools for over a decade, I knew I had a valuable and rare skill set to share. While we were getting settled here I was hatching plans for a new business. Tidy AF became a reality once I decided to own my neat and tidy nature as a legit gift, and turn that into a way to support others.

I have lived all over the U.S., studied abroad, have degrees in Fine Art and Education, and spent 14 years as a public school teacher.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Hands down, the struggle for me is social media. It is something I prefer to steer clear of in my personal life. Prior to starting Tidy AF, I had never used Instagram.

Learning to embrace social media with open arms and use it daily still feels awkward… but it’s what gets me out there! So I dove in and have learned so much. Turns out making reels is fun!

As you know, we’re big fans of Tidy AF. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a one-woman show and pack a powerful punch when it comes to organizing and designing interior spaces. I specialize in coordinating life needs with layout design and organization tricks to hack your home into being user-friendly and comfortable.

My passion is supporting families through big life transitions – new babies, senior moving/downsizing, death of a loved one, unpacking and setting up their new home, or staging a home for sale.

My empathetic communication skills and problem-solver mentality set me apart from others. By nature, I am a creative, an artist, and an excellent listener. I design creative solutions and highly individualized services for my clients.

I offer Tidy Coaching, Interior Design, Professional Organizing, Virtual Packages, and interior painting services.
