Meet Kaylin Moss

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylin Moss.

Hi Kaylin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I used to think of being a model the same way I thought about being a chef or ballerina. They were all dream jobs. I decided to make my dream a reality at the start of 2021. The pandemic inspired me to begin my modeling career because my college classes were virtual, and I had more time to build my portfolio. I am a senior computer science student at Marist College from Charleston, South Carolina. I have worked with brands like Amehl for NYFW and Uye Surana. My success in modeling can be attributed to my confidence. I do not take no for an answer.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My modeling journey has been wonderful, yet my biggest challenge has been my petite stature. Many agencies cite my height (5’2”) as the sole reason for not signing me. However, the fashion industry is becoming more open to petite models and I am excited to continue breaking barriers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a freelance model specializing in fashion, lingerie, and hair modeling. My experience spans print, bridal, runway, and hair shows. One of my proudest accomplishments is being the cover model for Volume 8 of Measure Magazine. My genuine personality and confidence set me apart from others.
