Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Reese.
Hi Kayla, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was a nurse for 16 years working at a doctor’s office as a clinical supervisor, 2019 my journey started I became an entrepreneur. I left my job, in which was very scary and uncomfortable. I began to counsel people from there I coached them in their life, help them through life traumatic spaces, help them with the tough things in life. I have been doing this for years but didn’t know that I was actually building a business. I was actually building a brand. I launched coaching with the KIDD. Since 2019 I’ve coached and developed over 100+ men and women across the country into who they were created to be. I started a detox program where we detox from life, detox from the situation, life trauma, family trauma, church trauma, and then we build a brand in a business according to individual freedom.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some days were better than others but the beginning phases it was not so easy. I had to actually believe in myself. I didn’t believe in myself because I had never done this before. I was so used to working for others. I didn’t want the responsibility of taking care of others. That’s too much.
I could wait for people who knew me to support me. I had to lower my expectations of people in my life. It was the people that didn’t know me who supported me and pushed me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My organization walks you through every part of life. Whether it is ministry, marketplace, life, relationships, etc. what sets me apart is that we deal with the entire position of the person. May times you go in for help in one area but the lack of something in another area of your life causes the part you want to flourish to be disabled. I’m known for being very patient, consistent, and passionate about building others. I want the readers to know that, In order to change you must change your surroundings, your thinking, and your posture. This means your surroundings may not be conducive for you to grow. We want to grow without change. Growing requires change. Change in mentality. You can’t keep saying you want to change but never change who you are. Your thinking has to elevate. Daily you must see yourself at the top. Climbing to the top you have to be ok with stepping on some people’s hands. They stopped you didn’t. As long as your posture is to build you may lose but you will never be without.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy in knowing I’ve done what The Father has told me to do daily. It brings me such joy knowing that my purpose is to help people to become free from bondage. Why, to see people free allows them to work to their greatest capability.
