Meet Cody Buntin of CSC Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Buntin.

Hi Cody, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started CSC Design unhappy with 3rd party companies and the quality of materials I was getting for a fitness/lifestyle brand I had built from the ground up. I decided one day enough was enough and wanted to bring the entire process in-house and do it for ourselves. Since 2019 it has evolved into not only more brands evolving from what we do, but helping others make and show off their designs for their companies or brands.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has definitely been a long and difficult process to get where we are now. It took long and sometimes sleepless nights, a lot of research and going down the rabbit hole of YouTube to perfect and upkeep my craft. We also are at the mercy of only having access to certain equipment, so growing through those struggles has put us in a great position now to know what makes us efficient and what machinery or equipment works the best for our type of business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CSC Design?
CSC Design is primarily a design shop, offering screenprinting, embroidery, heat press, and design services to our clients, with the ability to service all over the United States. We specialize in working with gyms/fitness brands as well as contractors/tradesmen to give them a tailored approach to their specific niche. Our goal is to help other people and their brands and businesses through quality apparel like no one else’s. We pride ourselves on giving a soft and smooth but durable print to withstand the test of time. We want our clients’ designs to last longer than the shirt itself. We are always improving on our techniques as well as upgrading equipment to ensure we have the best quality for whom we work.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Do. Your. Research. Get to know the industry as best as you can. Learn what equipment you want to use and what brand and size work best for your business. Find that line between looking into things too much and just going for it! Some of the best things in life come from just jumping in.
