Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheyenne Downs.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
I started my YouTube channel around 3 years ago. The funny story behind that is that I often talk to myself. I decided to document my rants, and it led to me documenting my life. I get out of the military soon, so being able to look back at the last four years makes it all worth it. Doing what I love motivates me to continue growing and experiencing new things.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Documenting my life hasn’t been the smoothest, but it is due to other obstacles getting in the way of me staying consistent with posting. Being in the military is time-consuming and doesn’t leave much time for a second job. Once I got the workflow down, it was easier for me to film around my work life.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I have a running joke that I’m like Batman. I am a U.S. Marine by day but a Content Creator by night. If I had to choose between the two, I would select content creation because it’s always been my passion. I am very proud to be a Marine and proud of my social media platforms and the achievements I’ve made with them.
Do you have any advice for those just starting?
Whatever it is you’re starting, do it because you love it. If you love it, it will never feel like work. Stay true to yourself and your morals no matter how high up in the industry you get. Remember where you came from and stay humble because it can all be gone tomorrow.
