Life & Work with Solomon Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Solomon Davis.

Hi Solomon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I first started as a street/landscape photography when the pandemic first started as an outlet and with more time I wanted to branch out and actually start doing portraits with close friends and family. After about 6 months I feel in love with it and dedicated my time in learning what I really needed to do to make this new hobby something so much more.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve definitely had some hard roads with my journey with me not going to school for photography and basically learning on my own it comes with some scrutiny and judging but I try my best to keep the art the main focus and drown own the opinions.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a freelance photographer I specialize in portraits and landscape photography my most know work definitely has to be my graduation season photo shoots with it being such a special time it gets the best crowd reaction. A lot of people might think I’m crazy but I’m most proud of my landscape and street photography I love just be able to go out and create your own story .one thing I could say that sets me apart is my influences my upbringing was very mixed and allowed me to be able to see life through a couple of different lenses and has allowed me to be unique to me.
