Today we’d like to introduce you to Real Talk Podcast.
Thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I went to a close friend of mine, Kiana with a vision. I told her that I felt like the world needed to hear what we have to say. We are both strong young women that relate in so many ways to different people’s lives and I knew that others would want to hear us. After coming up with a name doe the podcast, The vision took off from there. We took the leap of faith and just went for it!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a smooth road because of our supporters. After dropping the podcast, support and followers started flooding in. struggles along the way have been learning the correct equipment needed, video quality all of the above. But as we’ve been going, we have been learning and getting help along the way.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are most proud of real talk podcast. Most do not know us individually but everyone definitely knows OF our show. We’re both pretty much private individuals but during this experience we have been growing, learning and opening up to those around us. Our podcast is set apart from others because 1, we are one of the first all-female podcast in the upstate 864 area, we are both very outgoing, courageous young women that have been through things unimaginable. We will use our platform to speak on those certain situations, to shed light on things that happen in the world, and give our viewers nothing less than real talk & honesty.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
We like best that it is a growing city. In Greenville or Spartanburg, the upstate period you have the opportunity to grow and network in many different ways. I like that this city isn’t scared to network with others.
