Life & Work with Lost Foxes of Greenville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lost Foxes.

Hi Lost; we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2019, my friends and I were hanging out and came up with the idea to make a couple of songs just for fun, so we did. We recorded some stuff and had a great time doing it. Later we thought, “hey, we could do this for real.” So in 2020, we decided to form a band. We went through several names and finally landed on “Lost Foxes.” We wrote some more songs, and the rest is history.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
Making music, like any other creative process, can be difficult. There will always be someone who hates your work. But on the other hand, there will always be someone who will love and benefit from it. We’ve had our fair share of non-constructive feedback, but the best thing to do is not let it get to you. Another thing is that there will always be someone more experienced than you. That’s why you can’t compare yourself to others. The only comparisons you should be making are you vs. you. You can always improve yourself.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We make music that helps people. We write songs that people can relate to and be inspired by. We are working on our second, Self-Titled album, which will be coming out soon!

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson we’ve learned is how to deal with criticism.
