Life & Work with Annie Foster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annie Foster.

Hi Annie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
In 2014 I graduated from Aesthetic school, I then started working for a major company ULTA BEAUTY, once my time was up there, I then started my business solely by myself in 2017 not knowing where it would take me but I knew I had a purpose and no matter how hard things got I never gave up.

As of September of 2022, I have been in business for 5 years and have now expanded from Spartanburg SC to now Greenville SC. I now have a team who works under me. Within these 5 years, I also launched my own skincare line, which makes me the CEO of More Cosmetics.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I must say anytime you are elevating in life it is not the easiest, however, you must be ready for the bumpy roads and the turbulence and understand that it is a part of YOUR PROCESS. For myself I had my fair share of struggles being that I did not go to school for business I had to learn as I went along, I started taking business classes and networking with people in my industry, and I had to learn quickly to become comfortable with being uncomfortable so that I could grow.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a licensed esthetician in South Carolina, with my license I am the owner of Facesnmore Facial and Body Salon and the CEO of More Cosmetics. I specialize in skincare and body waxing when I started this journey I was known as a makeup artist, however, over the years I rebranded myself and I am now known for skin care and body waxing.

I am most proud of the fact that I am creating job opportunities for future estheticians. What sets me apart from others is the ambition and determination that I have not only for myself but for those who work under FACESNMORE cause WE are a team.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
How people can work with me is I hire estheticians to work in my salon and I also do training, as for collaborating I absolutely LOVE to cause its a chance to combine others and bounce ideas off each other, if anyone wants to work together please reach out facesnmore17@gmail.com
