Hi Alizeyae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started using yoni steams about 3 years ago to promote my own reproductive health. It was actually something a co-worker suggested I try. I was particularly drawn to the practice of yoni steaming because the herbal blends could be customized to fit each person’s needs. Studying the uses and benefits of plants and herbs has always been of particular interest to me.
Once I began making my own yoni steams and actually experiencing the benefits firsthand, I began to share my experience with others. Not many people know what yoni steaming is or what the benefits are. It’s always the first thing I suggest women try when experiencing issues with their reproductive system.
I was literally giving away yoni steams for about the first year of “unofficial” business. I call it that because I wasn’t getting paid. I enjoy helping other people feel better, so when I came across someone, I could help that wanted to try yoni steaming I’d come up with a blend and give it to them. After about the first year my regulars basically forced me into business. They were ready to pay me for my services and for that I’m truly grateful. I do say that I’m not in business for the money but it does help me be able to share my gifts with more people.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running a business has not been a smooth road for me. I struggled, in the beginning, trying to run a business while working 3 jobs and going to nursing school. I had to learn how to manage my time better and not overcommit myself.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create organic yoni steams to help promote reproductive health in women. In simple terms, it’s what you would call a facial for your vagina. I have four main blends that have different targeted effects. The herbs I use are all organic and can be used in combination with each other.
What sets me apart from others is that everything I do is done from the heart with love. I started this business for my customers and I treat them how I’d wish to be treated, I enjoy getting to know my customers and building somewhat of a personal relationship with them.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to keep going! The satisfaction I get from people thanking me for being in service and helping them is what keeps me going. It outweighs all the problems I have faced along the way and for that, I’m truly grateful. I’ve always wanted to help people feel better and I’ve found a way to do it. It’s not only a blessing to me but to other people as well.
