Today we’d like to introduce Randall and Lekisha Fulwood, owners of Picture This 360 Photos; they have shared their story with us below.
Randall and Lekisha were married in 2018 and after a couple of years, they realized they wanted a lifestyle which provided better flexibility, more work-life balance, and time to spend with each other and family. Randall worked a demanding schedule as a first responder and Lekisha had retired from the USAF, and had recently become a full-time caregiver for her mother. Randall resigned from his job and they began exploring business ventures and eventually settled upon the 360 Photo Booth, which was quickly becoming a hot new trend in the entertainment industry. Rather than a photo booth that takes still photos, it provides guests with a professional-quality 360 video, complete with slomo, music, and special effects. and more. The video is usually available to guests for immediate download to their smartphones, emails, social media, etc. After much research, they took the plunge and purchased the booth in late 2019. They spent some time learning how to use the software; just when they felt they were ready to officially launch, Covid-19 hit and there were no more events or social gatherings. The 360 equipment went back in the box and got shoved in a corner. The couple then started a courier business, which became in high demand during the pandemic. After things started to return to somewhat of a normal state and people were beginning to have weddings and parties again, the Fulwoods decided to dust off the essentially brand-new equipment and familiarize themselves with updates in the software and the industry. They officially launched Picture This 360 Photos, a DBA of Fulwood Enterprises, LLC, in February of 2022. Since then, they have been blessed to make lifelong memories at weddings, birthday parties, proms, corporate events, church events, and other celebrations. “We literally roll out the red carpet, and we aim to make every person that steps onto our booth feel like a star!”
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The photo booth industry is dependent upon people having events and wanting to capture those special moments, The pandemic was definitely the biggest obstacle, as we made an investment that we could not get a return on for some time. Another challenge is the emergence of other similar companies now in the area when a few years ago, the 360-photo booth was virtually unheard of. However, Picture This 360 Photos stands out from the competition with their high-quality videos and superior customer care.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Lekisha is the adventurous risk-taker, whether with experiences like zip-lining, with food, and with business, while Randall tends to be a bit more pragmatic, approaching every decision with thought and logic, which makes them the perfect balance. It took over a year of convincing on Lekisha’s part, but she was finally able to convince Randall to take a risk in entrepreneurship. Leaving a job with a steady paycheck and great benefits for an uncertain outcome was a huge risk, but one that has proven well worth it.
