Inspiring Conversations with Nesha Frazier of Mama Bears Personal Concierge Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nesha Frazier.

Nesha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story is truly proof of the power we all have to decide who we want to be for ourselves. No matter our environments or circumstances.

I’m an USAF vet, former D2 sprinter, married mom of 4, Realtor, Business owner, and host of Courage Hackers podcast.

I’m also a product of teenage parents, first-generation college grad with more family members with jail sentences than college degrees.

I struggle with anxiety, imposter syndrome, and overcoming my excuses on a daily basis.

But I also make a daily decision to choose the hard stuff and endure the suck so that I can make myself proud and set my future self up for success.

I’m someone who has the audacity to dream big and break my own boundaries with the courage to pursue them.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not.

I am the oldest of 2 kids. My brother was sentenced to a 30-year prison sentence when he was 20 years old. I held onto the guilt of failing him and experiencing joy or success for years. I dare say almost 10 years of overcoming it.

I worked in a corporate environment that was toxic and ALMOST made me believe that I was the problem because I had high standards and core values.

I had to learn to create boundaries as a working mom while experiencing a sudden medical issues with an autoimmune condition and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Welcoming my 4th child unexpectedly after having my 3rd just 16 months prior and the toll it took on my body, mind, and spirit.

Nothing easy about any of it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Mama Bears Personal Concierge Services?
Mama Bears is a personal concierge service for the busy, overwhelmed everyday woman. I launched this service after years of struggling with the idea that having help was a luxury.

I believe that every woman deserves having someone to care for them and the things that matter to them so that they can prioritize themselves and avoid burnout.

Mama Bears is different for that reason. It’s an answer to the common phrase busy women utter daily “If only I had another me.”

Mama Bears offers virtual and in-person help to assist with everything from event planning (like holidays, birthdays) to dependent and elderly care check-ins to home services to research (like vacation planning or meal prepping) and home relocation planning.

It’s created for busy women to help them to find more balance and prioritize their personal wellness. We are the caregiver’s caregiver.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I wish I started this idea sooner. I’ve had the concept for years and thought of launching it with a former business but didn’t think I could. My advice would be to just start. Find your first client. And keep chipping away at it.
