Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Light.
Hi Jenna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started in 2017. At the time I just had a four-year-old and a newborn. I tried to get their photos taken and they didn’t turn out as I expected so I decided I could do this myself. Almost 7 years later, I’m now a wedding and family photographer full-time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Most definitely not a smooth road. Building a name and brand over the years has been a struggle. But in the past four years, I’ve learned to be my true self, be honest, and be a good human, word of mouth will always make it happen!

I am a Lowcountry traveling photographer. Specialize in weddings and engagements, family, and portrait photography. I want your session to be fun. Something that creates genuine laughter.
I love capturing raw emotions at weddings. I’ve been described as a crazy, happy, blonde, girl and I’m OK with that. I want my clients to know that they are not just clients, we are genuinely building a relationship, a friendship.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success to me is hard work. You putting yourself out there, showing off what you can do, and putting your whole heart into something. 7 years ago I decided to take on this journey, 4 years ago I put my whole heart into what I love. And I truly do love this job.
