Inspiring Conversations with Faith Bergman of Life with Intention Method

Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Bergman.

Faith Bergman

Hi Faith, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story started of evolving began a few years back, but really is one that has evolved over the course of my life. During my high school and college years, I was someone who was constantly the life of the party in social settings but never really knew what I wanted to do or what truly made me happy and feel empowered. I spent a lot of time trying to fit myself into certain boxes– whether that be the major(s) i chose for myself in college or some of the individuals I surrounded myself with. I was pretty unhappy, overweight and anxious for the majority of my college years. This led me to pursue a career in Finance as I felt it would look the best from the outside and make me the most money, which I naively felt would bring me happiness. After working a few jobs in Finance, being treated extremely poorly and losing one of my jobs, I really began thinking that I could not live the rest of my life this way. I started listening to podcasts, began journaling, tried to look at things from a more positive sense, lost and maintained 60+ pounds and got a new job. I slowly began finding myself through the habits and routines I put in place to the point where I felt like the most authentic version of me. Now, a few years later, I work one-on-one and in event settings to help other individuals also find what lights them up and become the most authentic version of themselves. Life is too short to live on the terms of others and by tweaking our habits, getting ourselves in a new groove and finding what works for us, we can stop feeling like we are just “going through the motions” and really come back to ourselves.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. As mentioned previously, I had gotten let go from a job, which really set me back. It caused me to rethink a lot. I had to work through limiting beliefs around money, success, traditional career paths, failure and so much more. But I know I would not be who I am now without having gone through this experience and am extremely grateful for how it has shaped me.

Covid also caused a huge shift in my life. I found myself living back home with my parents (whom I truly love dearly!), but it made me feel like I had taken a huge step backwards on my life after just moving into New York City and being on my own.

We’ve been impressed with Life with Intention Method, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My company is called Life with Intention Method or LWI method for short. I am a mindset and life coach! My mission is to guide driven individuals towards discovering their true needs, boundaries, and desires. By uncovering these vital components of their lives, they can confidently spend more time on activities that bring them joy, while letting go of anything that doesn’t serve them. With my guidance, they can ignite their passions and unleash their full potential. You can think of me as a soul aligned advisor/guide. What sets me apart from others is that everything I do is on the basis of habits and working through limiting beliefs that we often do not even realize we have. I want readers to know that it is never too late to change their trajectory of their life and that the best time to start working with me was yesterday, but the next best time is today.
