Hidden Gems: Meet Tron Malachowski of Lowcountry Specific Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tron Malachowski.

Hi Tron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Grew up on a retired farm in NE Pennsylvania to a single mother in a single wide trailor. Dad left when I was 6 months old.

Mother made $6000/ year as a part-time bus driver. Raised by my mom, gparents, and entire family.

Moved to Poconos in PA when I was 7 and left for college in Philly when I was 18. 12 years old had a traumatic back injury that left me depressed, hopeless, and in a bad place. A chiropractor adjusted me and changed the trajectory of my life forever. Returned to sports the next year after my injury and wanted to be a chiropractor from the age of 12.

Met my wife in undergrad where I played for a Division III powerhouse, Widener University. Suffered 2 more concussions playing football which made me stop playing ball.

Went to school in Davenport IA to Palmer College, the Fountainhead. Found Upper Cervical Chiropractic after pledging a fraternity. Met my mentor, the world’s leading authority in Upper Cervical Chiropractic, and joined their organization for 4 years. That was hell on earth. But I learned a lot and am known for taking care of some the sickest cases in the world.

Gorgeous wife Erica, been married for 15 years this June with 2 beautiful girls, Sofia, 11, and Selice, 9. Kids swim and Sofia plays volleyball while Selice is in Drama. Wife homeschools and is an accomplished RN. She is active politically and enjoys serving on a few boards here in Summerville.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
NO!

Poor kid, but grew up with everything I needed.

Mom was married 2x. Last time to a guy that we didn’t get along very well and he was absent in my life.

Injuring my back was terrible. Bad place, but God brought me out of it and changed my life forever.

My mentor was sick and had a lot of internal struggles he took out on me. Office was in bad shape for many years. When we split, everything changed. But the fire made me stronger.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We specialize in Upper Cervical care. It’s a small niche within the chiropractic profession that focuses on the most delicate powerful area of the CNS, the brain stem. This area includes about 500,000,000 nerve fibers that converge into an area the size of a nickel. If this area is disturbed, it can create terrible health issues.

We are known all over the country for providing customized tailored care to this area of the body. We have seen people with Parkinson’s, MS, Neurosarcoidosis, tremors, Bell’s Palsy, migraines, fused spines, and many other debilitating conditions get there life back after spending time with me.

We aren’t your typical chiropractor and people know that when they come to us. They have often exhausted their medical options while the medical profession often has nothing to offer them but drugs and surgery. And once people begin care here, their lives change forever.

Last week we had a patient that went to the ER with pain so bad in her head she was vomiting. She also had POTTS since she was 12 and has been to Mayo with no relief. After getting her under care, her migraines have disappeared, her HR has come down from 190s to 90, and her MD dropped her B-blocker in half due to receiving care here at the office.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
