Hi Megan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I have the pandemic to thank for how ChimeHouse Media came to be. At the time, I worked in financial services and had been for the most significant part of my professional life. I had started in sales and quickly worked my way up to being a Partner role at a Fortune 100 financial firm after 7 years of sales, recruiting, hiring, etc. I realized that wasn’t what I wanted to do. During the pandemic, I started considering beginning a side business since I had acquired many entrepreneurial skills in my professional life. I figured, “Why not?” Then, after, I got sewed a Facebook Ad. Thadad led me to purchase a course on Facebook and Instagram Ads, and ChimeHouse Media was born. My husband and I delved in and began building our business from the ground up.

For the first few years, we worked primarily with business owners in the online space who were selling digital courses, products, services, and programs. Then, last year, in 2023, a friend approached me with a challenge to create an ad strategy specific for podcasters and focused on download & listenership growth, email list building, and getting more visibility on social media. He wanted to be my guinea pig to see what results we could get, if any. Thinking that this would be fun, I accepted the challenge. After putting the ads in place and getting great results, we worked with my friend and his clients since he is a podcast growth coach. We had so much fun working in this niche that we decided to pivot our business altogether. Now, we are The Facebook Ads team for podcasters. Our mission is to help business owners with podcasts grow their listenership, build their email lists, and turn their content into an audience-building machine that works around the clock, even if they don’t feel like they need to show up on social media every day.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Any entrepreneur would never say their journey was smooth. If they did, I’d be shocked. The same goes for us. It hasn’t been a challenging road, and there have been extra challenges since I worked with my spouse. However, what makes all this work is our commitment to our goals and what we both want for our lives together. That makes the struggles worth it: the hard times, the difficult conversations, the long hours, everything. If you know where you want to go and what your “why” is, it’s easier to remind yourself why you’re doing this during the rough patches.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As I mentioned previously, we are the go-to Facebook Ads team for podcasters. Most of our clients are business owners with a podcast as part of their marketing strategy. Primarily, they are leveraging a podcast to build authority, grow, and nurture their audience, and they are looking for a way to grow faster that only requires a little bit of their time. That’s where we come in. We use our signature ad strategy, The Trifecta Ad Strategy, to help them grow in 3 key areas: email list growth, podcast growth, and audience growth on social media. We leverage content and things they have already created in their business and continuously use ads to bring new people around the clock. This allows them to focus on what they’re good at and growing their business while the ads work for them behind the scenes. We are proud to have created the first and only Facebook Ads course & community specifically designed for podcasters, The Podcast Audience Amplifier. This course teaches them how to implement this Tri-Fecta Ad strategy into their business while also providing live support inside the community. Facebook Ads can be frustrating (even for someone who does it daily, haha), and we want to ensure our students keep going. We know how powerful this strategy is, and our goal is to continue to grow and build this community.
