Today we’d like to introduce you to Martha Antonini.

Martha Antonini

Hi Martha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Martha Antonini, Interior Designer and Owner of Design and Style Unlimited, Inc., has been designing homes globally for 25 years. Based in Boca Raton, Florida, she travels as needed to Charleston, SC, to overlook her current design projects.

I always knew since I was a child that I wanted to be an Interior Designer. In sixth grade, on Career Day, when an Interior Designer came in and showed our class her color boards and fabrics, I knew this was what I wanted to do some day.

Fast forward to receiving my college design degree, I was hired by one of the top architectural firms in Florida to work in their design department, which I believe gave me an amazing start to my career. I later expanded my work experience, by learning all phases of interior design within different companies. By 2011, I began my own design company and since then, have continued to create happy homes for my clients.

I am very appreciative for all my clients and their loyalty. I have had several clients that I have designed projects for at least a few times now over the years. And I also love the excitement of a new design project!!!

Design and Style Unlimited, Inc., overlooks all aspects of Interior Design. This includes managing new home builds, remodels, spec homes, turn-key projects, on site staging, decorating, and commercial interior design. Projects may consist of one room or an entire home.

“I view each new design project as my own blank canvas to layer color, texture, and details . . . in the end creating a magnicificent work of art. All elements are essential for both beautiful and harmonious Interiors.”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When I first entered the design industry to work, I really wanted to do the actual design work. But in the beginning, I was given tasks such as preparing contracts, creating purchase orders, or setting up deliveries. It took a few years of experience in the field before I was given the opportunity to design for others. I am thankful for my path though, because I learned all the other related tasks. I also believe that my past work experiences really help me with the business part of my company today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I love designing homes that meet all of my clients needs. I have a huge variety of clientale, ranging from career motivated individuals to retired nest seekers to celebrities and sports stars. In the end, my goal is to acheive each client’s requests, by designing a home that they will love.

My company designs from the ground up – from the floors to the ceilings and everything in between. We do it all! Our projects include new home builds, remodels, and spec homes. In addition to interior design, we also offer accessorizing services, which makes us a little more unique. We will go into the home or business and accessorize on site for a whole new look. I simply love working with all of the different styles, colors, and finishes. I build layer upon layer to create the end result. I have a fixation for details!!!

I am really proud of how many beautiful, happy homes I have created. I am looking forward to continuing to do so!

What does success mean to you?
Success is when you have met all the project criteria, completed your project, and your client contacts you at a later date to tell you how happy they are. This means that you have met all their expecations and accomplished everything they asked for.
