Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasie Kelly.
Hi Kasie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I enjoy being creative and have always aspired to be an entrepreneur. Jutie has allowed me to accomplish both of these desires.
During the height of COVID, I had time and space to create a reusable product line. I designed custom reusable products with trustworthy manufactures and worked with a graphic designer and photographer to build a unique brand.
As the owner and designer of Jutie, it’s been a fun adventure helping others live more sustainably through my custom reusable products!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Jutie continues to teach me patience and persistence. Each step in my business has taken longer than I expected. From branding, product creation, shipping, backend process, and sales I’ve had to exercise patience. Jutie continues to challenge me daily to show up for business and mission that I believe in.
We’ve been impressed with Jutie, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Jutie creates reusable products to inspire and enable you to live a more sustainable life! Not only are products reusable, but also durable and timeless.
I was inspired to create Jutie after living in Western Australia and being exposed to a culture that deeply values sustainability. Jutie’s Market Bag is the flagship product, which is made with jute material and inspired the company name. Additionally, the brand’s heart logo is influenced by the verse “Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14.
Now, I am proud to call Charleston, South Carolina home and love sharing Jutie products with my community. I am inspired to help others create more sustainable lives and look forward to expanding Jutie’s offerings in the years to come.
What makes you happy?
Spending time outside and playing sports has brought years of happiness to my life. I love the community, competitiveness, and comradery playing sports creates. In this season of life, I am involved in tennis, beach volleyball and surfing!
