Today we’d like to introduce you to Kari Evans.
Hi Kari, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2004. I started as a Master’s Hair Care Specialist, and while working as a stylist, I continued to seek education and became a Certified Trichologist, one who specializes in hair loss. I’ve always had a passion for helping others. In the salon, I would find myself always educating my clients on everything I had learned.
Shortly after becoming a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, I took an interest in how to naturally heal the body, so I sought education and became a Naturopathic Wellness Coach. As my business began to grow, I had a deep longing and urge to teach anyone and everyone who would listen to what I had learned. I looked back over my life and educating others was always a part of my life.
It began in the church when I was freely sharing what I had learned by attending mid-winter conferences, I entered into the Bail Bonding industry for a part-time job and fell in love with it.
I remembered in 2008- 2014, I helped educate several men and women all over the state of South Carolina to become bondsmen I also taught them how to initially build their bail bonding business.
My love, passion, and purpose have allowed me to continue educating others about everything that I have learned. I am the owner of Studio Glamour Hair Salon & Restoration Center, A & D Bail Bonding, I Am Kari Evans LLC, & Prosperity Radio.
I am a Business Mentor, Life Coach, Personal Development Strategist, Educator in the beauty industry, and Motivational Speaker, and I enjoy educating others to help them get to their next level.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been all peaches and cream.
The challenges that I have faced were growing up in poverty with big dreams, low self-esteem, and I lacked confidence in myself and what I had to offer the world, in the process of growing my business death of 2 important people hit the same year one month apart, divorce, and lack of support were just a few.
My passion to educate everyone that I came in contact with outweighed the pain of everyday life, although those circumstances slowed me down, they did not stop my purpose in this world. I understand that everything that happens in life is a learning lesson and a teachable moment.
Despite the obstacles, you may face while pursuing your dreams NEVER GIVE UP because one day you will be living your dreams!

I specialize in business development, leadership & personal development. I am known for delivering powerful motivational speeches that will shift the paradigm of my listeners. What sets me apart from others is my “why” I’ve had to endure a lot. As with any other great leader, my circumstances made me a great teacher. I’m always willing to learn because I understand that I am not above anyone but equal to everyone.
I’m very proud of the characteristics that my brand tries to show in its everyday function. My mission is to help women entrepreneurs go from living a life of restriction, poverty, and unfulfillment to living a limitless life of purpose, balance, and prosperity.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
When finding a mentor, it’s important that you understand their brand and what it represents.
Know the direction that you desire to go then choose the mentor best for you! Don’t choose a mentor because of the highlights they show you on social media. Choose a mentor that reflects where you desire to go or do what you desire to do.
Networking is a great business-building strategy, but only if it’s done correctly. I tell everyone to network with a purpose! Know who you want to connect with and why you want to connect with them. Make sure the relationship will be beneficial for both parties.
Attitude, appearance, eye contact, and pitch all play a part in how well you succeed at a networking event. Being myself, gaining confidence, in my pitch, being open to new connections, and knowing my “why” has worked wonders for me.
