Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicholas Zoucha. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Nick has been involved in the Auto Glass industry for a little over 30 years. It all started in 1990 when he got his first chance to work in a real Auto Glass Shop. Russ Maskie, the owner of Charleston Auto Glass took a chance on Nick and taught him the ropes. Commitment, discipline, confidence, and attitude were qualities attained by Nick at that glass shop. Moving on from the Mom and Pops to a fast-paced industry, where education and new technology were in high demand, Nick joined an industry giant, Safelite Auto Glass. At Safelite Auto Glass, Nick became more familiar with the tools of the trade, learning about safety and service in the field on board a Mobile Glass truck. The whole concept of a “Mobile Shop” was new at the time. Leaving a safe environment to show up on sight to install auto glass at a customer’s home or office was soon accepted by the public.
Today customers have the option to have their cars serviced in shop or by a Mobile Service Tech. In 2005, Spectrum Auto Glass L.L.C. was born. Nick and his wife Stacy, started Spectrum Auto Glass where they worked side by side servicing the Low-Country. In just 8 short years, Spectrum Auto Glass became a household name, serving one customer at a time. Unfortunately, Spectrum Auto Glass had to close their doors in 2013, due to Stacy being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Nick worked on and off installing auto glass around the Tri-County area until finally moving to Nebraska for a change of pace. A year later in 2014, Nick decided to come back to South Carolina to regain his presence by working for Windshield Specialist, SC. As of 2018, the opportunity finally arose to get back in the Auto Glass Industry as a major player. Nick is proud to present, Nicks’ & Cracks Auto Glass L.L.C. Nick promises the same quality and reliability you would expect, focusing on safely replacing Foreign and Domestic Auto Glass in the Low-Country of South Carolina.
Our team is managed by Jessica M. Whitener. The knowledge that she has learned supports a well-oiled machine. Learning all facets of the industry both foreign and domestic vehicles and tractor equipment as well Jessica is the backbone and heart of the company. What to expect from her is professionalism, honesty, and fairness.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every day is a struggle. We are a family-owned company and everyone has to pitch in to keep life going while servicing our customers. when we left the contracting status, the world opened up for us. In the industry of auto glass our company had to wait to even be accepted on the insurance platforms. That took almost two years of getting work and surviving. Today we took the plunged and we now are respected by our peers and the world stage. We decided to get to know our customers in-depth and meet their needs as a priority. Perseverance pays off. Now we need to just focus and maintain.
As you know, we’re big fans of Nicks & Cracks Auto Glass, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Nicks’ & Cracks Auto Glass, LLC evolved from its legacy company, Spectrum Auto Glass, LLC. Building upon 30 years of experience, we are focused on bringing confidence, safety, and respect to every auto glass claim we install. We work along with you and your insurance company to ease the process of validating your claim.
Our method of installation and training, known as the “Full Cut Method” is approved and promoted by the NGA (National Glass Association). Our professional installers are fully trained and educated on the safety procedures and methods. We strive for your vehicle’s installation to be safe for you and your family. Rest assured, you can rely on a “showroom look” upon the completion of each and every job we do. You may hear us say from time to time, “If it doesn’t look right, it isn’t put in right”. We believe that is how the public in general, should judge their vehicle’s glass installation.
We stand firm behind our work so much; we give you a lifetime warranty in writing. Each installation from Nicks’ & Cracks Auto Glass comes with our Satisfaction Guarantee, which is good for as long as you own your vehicle. We strive for excellence with every install.
Help us carry forward this great company. For starters the name Nicks’ and Cracks Auto Glass, LLC was giving as a suggested pun. Oddly the youngest member bares the name of the owner to hopefully carry on the business for his generation. We are driven to build the company today for tomorrow.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
