Hi Nancy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I transitioned to this career a little later in life. I was at a crossroads, shutting down a business my late husband and I owned for 15 years. I partnered with my dad, who is a plastic surgeon. I went to esthetics school. I also have furthered my education and am constantly learning about all the new technology and latest skincare. I am a master Hydrafacialist, which is a three-tier program, and also a professional SkinCeuticals, which is also a tiered program. With SkinCeuticals, this is something that you have to apply to get picked among the top 50 in the country. I made it to the finalist for master’s, which is among the top 15 in the country. I also have extensive knowledge of lasers. Since I was a bit late, I needed to get as much education as possible, and I continue to be a mentor and am involved with other estheticians nationwide. This field involves health and wellness, too. I have a passion for that. Previously, I was in the health and wellness field. I then got the certification to be a yoga instructor. I love bringing the holistic and medical approach together.

There are always struggles in any field. Am I doing the right thing? How can I build or make it more to reflect what I believe in bringing to the table? The economy has been trying on us and other local businesses, and many people are interested in this field.

I am an esthetician in the medical field. I am a result-driven spa, not a lot of fluff. We are honest and not sales-driven. We are family and treat you like family, too. We have been in this business for over 40 years now. The knowledge is what sets us apart.
