Today we’d like to introduce you to Demontae Edmonds.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
I received salvation at age 4 in my grandmother’s house. Since then, I have always wanted to know God and hear from him for myself. I developed an insatiable hunger for the Word of God at age 10. During my teens, I “backslid” and stopped attending church. However, in my early 20s, I started attending church again and became very serious about pursuing God’s purpose for my life. God revealed to me that He had given me a unique and special calling to share the Gospel and demonstrate his love through the miraculous. Also, he would use me to help encourage and transform many businesses and governments of nations. Since accepting the call of God, I have been able to share wisdom and insights with CEOs, US officials, and senior-level executives of nations, including Heads of State. As far as miracles, I have seen as many as 14 blind people see in one meeting, the dear ear; limbs grow out, and much more—2/3/24 in Lansing, Michigan, at Gilead Healing Center. God allowed me to pray for individuals, and over 9 legs supernaturally grew out in front of the audience. 8 of the 9 miracles were captured on video and verified on-site by a chiropractic doctor.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
No, it was not a smooth road. Months after I accepted my calling, God spoke to me while praying that he would allow the next few years to be full of challenges, but those challenges would help develop my faith and character. I remember feeling shocked at hearing this. This started almost a 7-year, which I called “The wilderness season.” I wrote about it in my book called “Grab Hold of Your Miracle.”
Some of the challenges were:
- Having to temporarily disconnect from old friend groups who did not hold the same values and beliefs
- Isolation and loneliness
- Financial hurdles and hardships. I went from a six-figure job to making a third of the amount (in my early 20s)
- Uncertainty about the future and seeming “stuck” in life several times
- Being misunderstood by close family

He is also a contributing author to a soon-to-be-released book entitled “Elevate: Leaders Elevating Leaders.” His most anticipated book release is “The Supernatural Dimension of Dreams: Understanding How God Works While We Sleep!”

Demontae has served as Executive Producer and host of Highways TV (WATC-57 Atlanta, GA). His show featured such guests as Calvin Robertson, star of Lifetime’s #1 series Married at First Sight. Also, Dr. Ebonie Vincent is the star of TLC’s hit show “My Feet Are Killing Me.” As a guest, Demontae has appeared on numerous regional, national, and international TV shows, including CBN News, TBN, Day Star, God-TV, CBN Prayer Link, and Turning Point International. He is an executive producer and leading storyline creator in a dramatic TV series production. We’d like to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
- Ecclesiastes 9:11 says, “Time and chance (luck) happen to all.”
I believe that “luck” happens to all. However, preparation is more important than luck. Preparation positions oneself so that when chance or luck presents itself, a person can take advantage of the opportunity. If you are always prepared in your skill, calling, or business, you can walk through confidently when the doors of luck open.
