Hi Chris, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I opened up a maintenance company in Indiana in 2012. This company remained in operation until 2022. Working with licensed real estate agents regularly led me to become a real estate agent. In 2018 I obtained my real estate brokering license. I practiced real estate in Indiana from 2018 to 2023. My family and I decided in 2022 to move to South Carolina. We sold our home and took the proceeds to move to South Carolina from Indiana. Since relocating to South Carolina, I have opened a new maintenance company and obtained my real estate salesperson license to practice here in South Carolina!
Side Notes: I also run 2 communities with over 800 members online, with one of the communities being on a global scale. Not sure if that last part is worth noting, but it does align with being an entrepreneur.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
By no means has any of this road been smooth. Being an entrepreneur requires a lot of self-discipline, focus, and determination. Growing comes with many challenges; the most difficult challenge is raising capital. Financial challenges are the most difficult struggles along the way.
