Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Fuller and Meredith Mobley.
Hi Tiffany and Meredith, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Belles in Boots was created when we began the endeavor to train, prepare, and haul 3 horses from South Carolina to Cody, Wyoming to sell them in a horse sale. Our business relationship started as a friendship after Meredith purchased a horse from Tiffany. We quickly realized we have similar horse training philosophies and business values and pursued creating the business Belles in Boots. We successfully sold our horses in Wyoming and matched each horse with the perfect home. Along the way, we have traveled the country buying and selling horses and formed numerous relationships with like-minded and renowned horse trainers. We decided to expand our business when we discovered we could not keep up with the demand we were encountering for gentle broke horses. At the same time, we realized there were ways in which we could change and improve upon premium horse auctions. As a result, Southern Belle Classic was born. The inaugural event will be held March 24-25, 2023 at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina. Hand-picked consigners from all parts of the country will be hauling horses to be a part of our event. Sixty elite horses have been carefully selected and vetted to be offered to the public by auction. We are excited to offer this unparalleled quality auction experience to the Southeast. This free event open to the public, will feature a versatility competition, food, drinks, vendors, and live entertainment.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like the majority of working women in America, we strive to balance family and work life. Since we live on farms that facilitate our work, we have daily chores and care of horses. Not all tasks are glamorous but we are thankful to work doing what we love. We are fortunate to have supportive families, clients, and the best auction team in the country.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are most known for discovering the specific talent of each horse and fostering their natural ability. We then take pride in accurately matching each horse to an ideal new owner. It gives us joy to see a horse we sell excel and be loved in their new home. We enjoy getting frequent updates from clients and have built lasting friendships. We believe this is a testament to the honesty, integrity and high standard we hold for ourselves. We proudly stand behind the horses we sell and provide support to their new families.
