Daily Inspiration: Meet Samone Johnson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samone Johnson.

Hi Samone, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Daughters2Destiny in 2018 to help women to reach their Destiny. I have learned in life that our plans for our lives maybe different from what God has for our lives, but if we surrender our will to God’s will we will realize that we can live an abundant and prosperous life. We can be successful in every area of our lives if we are obedient and do the work to heal internally.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road because I doubted myself. I questioned why God called me to do ministry and speak to women when I wanted to run far away from ministry. I remember back in 8th grade I formed a girls’ group and I would answer questions they may have. Its always been my passion to give advice and help people but I never thought of ministry on a big level. Another struggle has been consistency and making sure I am giving Daughters2Destiny 100%.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently doing contracting work as a counselor. I counsel clients on their personal issues which can range from substance abuse, parenting, grief. I am most proud that I can do what I love and help those in the community. What sets me apart from others is the fact that I have the passion and heart to hear not only hear on what they are saying but hearing on what they are not saying as well. I believe both are equally important.

What matters most to you?
What matters to me the most is seeing people be free, healed, and live the life they always dreamed of because the sky is the limit. My family also matters most to me because they are my world.
