Daily Inspiration: Meet Marcie Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcie Anderson.

Hi Marcie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My passion and calling to my work and how I serve humanity began at around 3 years old, My Mom would argue that I came into this life clear and ready for the purpose that was waiting for me.

At the age of seven, I alone witnessed my oldest brother pass away from leukemia. It was a mixture of it all- sadness, disbelief, anger, and confusion, but one that was to be the very impetus I needed to wake up to my purpose.

Twenty-three years later and many life experiences under my belt, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling/acting career and on paper, had signed with a strong agency, so all looked promising.

My life went to crap in a handbasket so incredibly fast from that point! My world was standing on a cheap carpet that got pulled out from underneath me, and at the time, I felt God was humored. One day on the beach in Santa Monica, I had a talk with God- actually, I was yelling at God, demanding and searching for answers. What happened next (it’s in my book), I could have never imagined but let’s just say it got my attention.

They say things happen in 3’s. I can vouch for that. But I was focusing on the wrong 3’s, instead of seeing the true and actual 3 moments of my life that have shaped me into the person I am today. One, witnessing my brother pass. Two, that experience on the beach in Santa Monica. Three, meeting my teacher less than a year after that.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My road to where I am today was about as smooth and comfortable as wearing a pair of burlap underwear. Although destiny would find me living in southern India for close to ten years, and studying with my teacher for more than fifteen years while he was alive, I was not met with a parade because of this.

Being the only girl in my family, I was the one who ‘flew the coop’ and moved out of state to California. Being signed by an agent in Los Angeles was a big deal, but deep in my heart, I knew it to be my chance to study healing work, which was very important to me. I was not met with ease of flow and countless acting and well-paying modeling jobs, in fact, quite the contrary. I was met with a severe knee injury, which then had my agent drop me, which then rendered me unable to work with my clients for yoga and personal training.

When the opportunity came to live, study, and practice in India, my family was less than excited for me. There were years where my dad and I did not communicate and as for the majority of my friends staying by my side, they all seemed to vanish.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As CEO of Marcie Anderson Mastery, I support individuals to groups, and executive teams to companies in leadership mastery through pure knowledge-based in spiritual mechanisms and techniques, meditation, yoga, and personalized processes. Am I cookie cutter in my approach? Far from it.

Whether you are a professional athlete looking to move past fear, or an executive burned out on the same approach to expansion and improved productivity, my methods are personalized without being in your face (although I’ll be very much in your space).

I ambassador ancient spiritual knowledge and techniques based on creation, and as a once shy yet fiery girl who didn’t speak up in public, that’s all changed. I’m a practical woman of the West with tactical tools and mechanisms of the East. I’m proud to be a published author, “Are We There Yet? Enlightenment for Busy People”, I’m proud that my life has granted me the ability to see how strong and resilient I can be, and I am very proud to be the mother of an amazing daughter who also spent time with me in India.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
These days looking ahead are exciting! I can feel the huge change and positive shifts not only in my unique work and offerings but in the whole of humanity as well. We are now in a powerful wave of bringing back the light, integrity, and truth to the planet. The level of suffering has been devastating and it is already the beginning of the end to it.

I feel that every industry will shift so why not the offering of leadership mastery-based in the Divine? Why not embrace the next marketing and goal-setting meeting for your company as an off-site destination retreat? Let’s get out of our beige cubicles, dust off our tired khakis, and get out into nature so that we can once again tap into our primordial and timeless self. We cannot impact greatly through fear, limited beliefs, and self-doubt. Great change has never come easy but now there is a tremendous opening. Life is now.

What we think we become. What we intend manifests. How many people truly think from peace, inner silence, and clarity in order to create the life and world we want? Our greatest power is unconditional love-this is not lame, weak or something to be laughed at. Humanity wins through unity. When we can tap into our compassion, resilience, and intuition, this fuels our already powerful mind in the right way.
