Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelli-Sue Miller.
Hi Kelli-Sue; we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an only child, born in Bermuda, but a US Citizen. Mother of 2 beautiful daughters, Harley, 18 & Jordan, 14 – in short form, I am a product of a broken home; my parents split at 1. I grew up predominantly with a single mom, not with the greatest relationship. Subjected to sexual abuse/rape as a child, teenager & grown woman. Also, I have untreated ADHD due to my age of 53. I never graduated from high school due to severe trauma & my ADHD. I entered the workforce when I was 16. Held some very high-level corporate positions with no degree due to high intelligence, excellent people skills & a natural ability to connect with people.
Growing up on a party island (Bermuda – 3rd richest country), I pretty much partied through my 20s & 30s – rebelling from my traumas both physically & emotionally, and lived & traveled around the world. I entered a relationship which would later become my 2nd marriage. The jump was fueled by alcohol, violence, and physical & mental abuse. Due to my broken home syndrome, I stayed. It got worse. I had our first child, had postpartum depression & emotional abuse about my inability to lose weight. Shortly after, I was introduced to drugs, specifically crack cocaine, by my now ex-husband. My first instinct was to run, but fear of him & being a single mother & depriving my daughter of a father kept me there. I also very sickly believed we would bond doing this together. OMG, just typing & reading this makes my skin crawl. I had no idea what crack was or how highly addictive it was until it was too late. I knew I was in big trouble in the first year of doing it. This was in 2006. 3 years later, I ran with my daughter to Florida to start fresh. It lasted until he came to visit his daughter when he found a dealer & started again & got sucked in one night. Out of fear of being unable to cope with 2 small children, a single mother, and now very much using drugs, I returned to Bermuda & married to the girl’s father. Again, I thought something would change. I didn’t only get worse. Our marriage finally ended at the end of 2010 when I was taken away in an ambulance with a cracked cheekbone, blood running down my face, holding my 1-year-old daughter. My 3-year-old looked at me and said, “Mommy, if I block my ears & cover my eyes, will you let daddy stay?” I knew then that I was teaching my daughter that this was okay, and it wasn’t; I never returned to that relationship. My thought was without him in the picture. All would be okay. But again, I didn’t realize how addicted I was to crack. My life & the girls’ lives started to fall apart pretty quickly. I put them in foster care when I asked for help in 2015, got them back later in the same year without support & proper aftercare & lost them as quickly as I got them back. I have continued to try to stay clean with many failures. I was in & out of approximately 8 to 9 rehabs until 2020 when I met a woman from NY on a recovery Zoom meeting who would become my sponsor. She had been to the Owls Nest Recovery in Florence, SC – I went in approximately June, I think it was. I did the 90-day program, then moved to their recovery house. I remained clean for 10 months. During that time, my current business, B-Epic, was put in my path. It’s an all-natural plant-based health and wellness supplement line helping people worldwide with healthy weight loss, energy, gut health & sleep issues. Cardiovascular, cholesterol & blood pressure issues, inflammation & antiaging, to capture a few. The only reason I was interested was that a very close friend recommended it. Otherwise, I most likely would not have tried them. I was struggling with my weight and energy & my sleep was just horrendous. Lo & behold, they were amazing. My energy & sleep improved overnight & I lost 30 lbs. within 5 months. Living with untreated ADHD makes it challenging to stay interested in things for a long time, so I usually get bored of jobs within 3 months.
Almost 3 years later, I am still running my brand partnership with B-Epic, running a full distribution Centre in Bermuda while living in the US, building my retail & team business, & being able to travel anywhere, as I can take my office with me. All I need is my phone & Wi-Fi. I stood out to B-Epic with my skill set & fierce determination & sales within 4 months of joining the company, so much so that after only 5 months with the company, they approved me to take the whole product line to Bermuda & have a physical location. Within the first year, we were in the top 3 fastest growing countries in the B-Epic Worldwide family & by far the smallest in region & population size. However, being we are the 3rd or 4th richest country in the world, the value of what customer spends per order far exceeds bigger countries.
Fast forward to 2023, I suffered another relapse & returned to Florence to go through another 30-day program. I have remained here ever since & next week, I celebrate 6 months clean. Throughout all of this, the Putnam family, owners of B-Epic, have been one of my biggest cheerleaders & very supportive of my recovery & my continuous with them as an independent brand partner and area manager for Bermuda. Network marketing, B-Epic & this industry has so much to offer anyone- part-time or full-time – it has changed my life in a very epic way!
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Ha! There is no smooth road here, but I’m grateful today for the road. A lot of hard & painful lessons have given me the strength & perseverance I have today & made me the woman I am and am becoming.

I’m an entrepreneur in the Health & Wellness Networking Industry. I am an Independent Brand Partner for a Multi-Million-dollar company specializing in all-natural health and wellness supplements addressing many areas of health, weight, cardiovascular, inflammation, immune support, and anti-aging. Alongside this, I am the Area Country Manager for Bermuda & have recently started the “Love Yourself First” 12-week weight loss program with 15 clients & their results are amazing. I am also in the process of co-authoring a book called “Mom’s in Network Marketing.” I am most proud of how I have taken this business & helped over 1,000 people improve their health; I have put Bermuda on the map in the B-Epic Family Worldwide & found my passion & purpose in life. I am known for my excellent customer service & how much I care about my clients. What sets me apart from others is my transparency about my journey, the good, the bad & the ugly, that I’m authentic, raw & well, just me. What you see is what you get!
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some changes you expect to see over the next five to ten years?
I think the Health & Wellness Industry will always be growing, especially towards plant-based products. My company had the foresight to go this way, which many other companies are following. Alot of people are becoming much more health conscious. Covid had a lot to do with that. My colleagues & I in network marketing destigmatize the industry & show both men & women that this is not only a valid career option but also an amazing career option with a lot of earning potential & an amazing opportunity to help others. It’s also a great opportunity for anyone – you don’t need any degrees or experience; just be over 18. The average adult spends 151 minutes on social media daily; why not get paid for it? That’s literally what I spend a day on my work, 2 hours a day & then I have the freedom of time and my life. I’m not chained to a desk, working 9 to 5, making someone else rich. I’m contributing to the success of my company, as are so many other thousands of awesome Independent Brand Partners. Still, I’m also increasing my wealth & contributing to people’s lives, one person at a time!
