Hi Christily; we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have a 6.5-year-old daughter who motivates me to keep going every day, even when it’s tough. She loves to party and enjoy the special moments in life, as I do. I created my 3 businesses to give her generational wealth and a career option for when she gets older and something fun that we could do together and build memories of our building the business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, One of the struggles has been time management. Being a single mom and entrepreneur is certainly challenging. I have struggled to maintain a work/life balance. Trying to find the time to be a mommy, attend PTA meetings and field trips, clean, cook, stay on top of marketing in this social media world, schedule, and do parties, all while being present for your child, is a struggle. There need to be more hours in the day to get it all done. Another area for improvement is finances, of course. I am finding all 3 businesses myself out of pocket. I am a 1st generation entrepreneur, so I needed guidance on this lifestyle. I just jumped in head first and began doing it. I have had to create several streams of income to make ends meet. One of my businesses is seasonal, and the other 2 are year-round. It’s challenging during that off-season, and the unpredictability of the market can be scary.

The 3 businesses I work with simultaneously are all related in some way. In this day in age, technology has advanced but has eliminated some human interaction and emotion. Technology will always be changing; memories last forever.
