Introducing The Apple Juice For 2 Podcast.
Hi Cam, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
All three of us went to high school together, but we didn’t really hang out. Isaiah and I technically have the same first and last name (different middle names) so all through high school our student ID numbers were mixed up, they even sent his family my high school graduation photo (Which was funny because we don’t exactly look alike). So, after college, Brevin got all three of us together for a drink to catch up while we were in town and the idea of doing a podcast together came up almost right away (like most 20-year-old male friend groups). “Apple Juice For 2” was a podcast that I had done a few episodes of in high school with an old friend (who later bleached my clothes in cold blood), I had always held on to the name/idea and the time came to dust it off when all three of us got on board to do a show together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Despite having been slapped in the face, sexually harassed, and berated by drunkards on the street while producing content, we feel like it honestly has been pretty smooth. We just do what we do because we enjoy it and these things don’t exactly phase us. Chiseling out our voices/comedic chops are probably what would define each of our own personal journeys along the way, and we’re proud of how far we’ve come in that.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We produce our podcast, “Apple Juice For 2”, through our production company Sunroom Studios LLC, which we started that as a home for the podcast when we started making a little cash from it. We offer a plethora of Audio Engineering & creative services through Sunroom and work with musicians, artists, & businesses all over Charleston.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
High risk, high reward. With what we do, people generally feel like their reputations among their peers is at risk, but that is purely the name of the game with really any kind of expression.
