Conversations with Tay Bethel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tay Bethel.

Hi Tay, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hell, my name is Tay Bethel. I am sorry; I lost my son in 2019 to gun violence. He was riding with friends & lost his life for nothing that had to do with him. I can also share that story, so I opened a store to remember him in the Dutch square mall named after him Fab’Los boutique & wrote a book about my son of his book called push pray until something happens. The pain of losing Carlos sold a book to a millionaire Amazon, and more boo places my booking helping many mothers with their grieving. I feel like I have a story to tell; many mothers look up to me, and I’m totally against gun violence. My son’s death hurts me, so I use my pain. What all I’m doing to strengthen myself?

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, I have a lot of support from many people who are very popular. Columbia SC times I get depressed & won’t give up, but by the grace of God, I keep moving.
