Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Bova.
Hi Mike, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started my comedy career eleven years ago with two veterans’ comedy show fundraisers. Currently, I travel across America, raising money for America’s veterans. Recently, I did two shows in South Carolina, one in Beaufort and one in Murrells Inlet.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has been a challenging road. The comedy business can be cutthroat; the entertainment business is sometimes tough between jealous comedians and greed.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a nationally touring stand-up comedian and recording artist. I’m best known for my unique comedy, parodies, and original funny songs. That’s what I’m most proud of and what sets me apart.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes, I’ve learned that although you plan, ultimately, you’re not in control, and when life happens, you have to adjust.
