Hi Lia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Since a young girl, I’ve been fascinated by the fashion and beauty industry. I have always worked in the luxury industry and wanted to work more “behind the scenes” for a brand. In 2023 I got a fantastic job as a Canadian Marketing Coordinator in one of the beauty brands. With all that, I’ve always been passionate about food (good food) and experiencing new places! With traveling and my job, going out to business dinners, and all was when I started my food page @the_hungry_her—where I get to share all my delicious food & travels. I am based in Montreal, Canada, but I mostly fly around NYC & Boston to share my experiences with my followers.
Please talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Theres always obstacles to overcome in life! You need to trust the process and believe that everything is temporary!
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work in Marketing as the Canadian Marketing Coordinator for a beauty brand. I specialize in the Canadian market and specifics. My day-to-day always changes as my whole team is located in NYC. I’m proud of how far I’ve come at such a young age to have the job and type of responsibility I have. Im beyond happy that I can try new places and restaurants with my travels for work. I get to tie my food passion to my everyday life and create content and reviews for people to know where to eat!
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
If you are passionate about something, do it! (It sounds cliche) but you’ll always feel like its a challenging task, and you’ll see a positive return!
