Hi Anastasia; so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Since a little girl, I’ve always been intrigued by the artistry of makeup and what it can do to your confidence. As I got older, I started dabbling with makeup. A few years ago, I went through a lot of mental breakdowns, and makeup is what helped me through my diagnosis of schizophrenia. I started practicing every day and on others, and seeing their happiness through a hard time just showed me what I wanted: the beauty community. It’s more about expressing yourself, showing your artistic creativity, and making others feel unstoppable; that makes it worth it all. I’m a small-known makeup artist and don’t get a lot of clients, but at a point in time, I didn’t get any clients at all, so the excitement of growth is something I live through every day. It’s fascinating to see people finally notice and believe in the talent I know I can excel in daily.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
It has been challenging to get the exposure I deserve! Especially when being a full-time mom working two jobs for two years straight made it challenging to be as consistent as I can be today! I strive to work on consistency to help with my exposure.

I’m a makeup artist, and if I’m honest, I don’t know what I’m most known for, only what I want to be known for, which is talented, loving, and professional. I’m very proud of my work growth and my makeup knowledge. It’s so much bigger than it was, which impresses me about myself. My spirit and how I carry myself with clients help me stand out the most!
Are any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
YouTube is a lifesaver, like TikTok and Instagram as well. All these well-known artists always drop jewels on us, and I love it.
