Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Greene.
Whitney, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a wife and mother of three children. After having our now 3 years old twins, my stomach stretched to the point where I had a great deal of loose skin. I suffered a great deal of postpartum depression from failed attempts in trying to just “get over” or “get used to” this new body of mine. My husband and I at the time lived in Charlotte, NC, a much larger city, and after failed attempts of trying to resolve this on my own; I decided to look for help. I googled “tightening skin in Charlotte NC” and several bodies sculpting spas, videos, and related articles came up.
The treatments were noninvasive, nonpainful, and required no downtime. I thought that this is way too good to be true. I started to do tons and tons of research to the point where I felt comfortable enough and booked my first appointment. Immediately after my first session, I could see a difference, by the third day I was ecstatic. I booked about three more sessions and couldn’t believe the changes I saw. I started asking the specialist questions about training and certification, and before you know it I had enrolled in the same program that she went to years ago.
Before I opened The Body Loft I was a stay-at-home mom to three small children with really no passion besides home. The BL is not just a business but a part of my healing. I get so excited when my client looks at herself in the mirror after her session is complete. The confidence that I give people is priceless and I absolutely LOVE what I do!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
With moving from such a large city like Charlotte, NC to Columbia, SC, my biggest challenge has been people here in Columbia not knowing what body cavitation or laser lipo is. These treatments are trending a lot more in larger cities. In Columbia, it’s all about getting the information out there.

The Body Loft is a locally owned business on Devine Street in Columbia, SC. It is a spa operated by a mother who understands how frustrating it can be to “feel different” and “look different”. I am here to help those achieve their desired appearance by offering Laser Lipo and Body Cavitation, both non-invasive treatments used for fat reduction, skin tightening, and body contouring. My goal is to boost confidence, one inch down at a time.
What makes you happy?
I absolutely enjoy my children seeing their mom become a boss mom. My oldest daughter is 7 years old and has seen me blossom into my best self and reminds me of how proud she is of me constantly!
