Today, we’d like to introduce you to Luna Gray.
Hi Luna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Oh man, where do I start… lol! I had a pretty traumatic childhood, ended up in foster care, and became a ward of the state 10-18. I journeyed through substance and alcohol abuse. Attempted to get sober a couple of times. I worked for a chiropractor for a couple of years, and that’s where I got into holistic health, fitness, nutrition, and physical therapy.
Moved to Mississippi for a “geographic cure”. Wound up pregnant with my first daughter at 25 and reconnected with a sober friend whom I later ended up marrying and getting sober again with. I now have two beautiful daughters and six years of sobriety, and I am building my own wellness business.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
No. Foster care, addiction, toxic relationships, and alcoholism.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Now, I’ve partnered with BODi to give my clients a total and complete solution, putting mindset first, then nutrition, then fitness.
I’ve overcome binge eating, two sections, and knee surgery with all the tools I give to others, and I know how hard it is to manage your own health while taking care of a family.
My business saves lives.
Networking and finding a mentor can positively impact one’s life and career. Any advice?
I just focus on building relationships and always putting service before sales.
