Today we’d like to introduce you to Laurin Green.
Hi Laurin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Laurin Green. I am the owner of The Kitty Parlor in Columbia SC. I am the mother of 3 wonderful children. I specialize in women’s body & health. I offer Yoni steams, foot detox, lymphatic drainage massages, and body sculpting. I also have a women’s Yoni care line, which has our #1 product Yoni Magic Pops, Yoni Magic Bodywash, Yoni Magic Oil, and Yoni Magic Refresher, all made with natural herbal products.
I started my business after I finish nursing school in 2021. I felt as though I needed another side hustle to help support my children expensive sports career. I have 3 children, twin boys 15-, & 13-year-old daughter. February 2021, I flew to Houston Texas to take a class where I became a Yoni Steam Practitioner. My trainer taught me so much from Yoni steams to making my own products. Helping women became my passion. Since I started this career I helped over hundreds of women with vaginal care, infertility, endometriosis, and many more. At The Kitty Parlor I offer lymphatic drainage massages for clients after cosmetic surgery. I went to Atlanta Georgia to get my lymphatic drainage massage certificate. My trainer remains my mentor and has help guided me throughout my journey. I’m also a travel nurse that travels along with clients to have cosmetic surgery and to help with post op care recovery. Nursing my passion. I love nursing and helping others. I always wanted to become a nurse since a little girl. Becoming a nurse was the best decision of my life! Not only for me but for my family as well.
The Kitty Parlor is a place where promoting women’s health is our first priority.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far, it’s been a smooth road, a steady road. Some struggles are basically funding your business with your own money. I’m at the stage now I’m trying to build my business credit to help fund my business without my personal money. Being a business owner you will have good days and bad days. For my bad days I pray and ask God for guidance and peace upon the situation and then move on. My good days always out way my bad days. I’ve been blessed to have good clientele and a steady growing business.
We’ve been impressed with The Kitty Parlor, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Kitty Parlor offer variety Yoni steaming services, foot detox, lymphatic drainage massages, and body sculpting. I have my own Yoni care line, offering Yoni Magic pops, Yoni Magic oil, Yoni Magic body wash, and Yoni Magic refresher. Women’s natural herbal products used to help balance ph., tighten vaginal, increase wetness, decrease infections, infertility, endometriosis, bad odor, menopause, bad menstrual cycles, and sex enhancement. Our number selling product is the Yoni Magic Pops. The ladies absolutely love the pops! What sets me aside from others is that I make and produce my own products. I know exactly what I’m giving you. I’m passionate about everything I do. I put forth my best effort to obtain great results. I take accountability of my actions. I am dependable and trustworthy. I’m very knowledgeable but also teachable.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was a shy kid. I was soft spoken. I was a curious kid who liked questioning things I didn’t know. My mom used to say I would make the best lawyer. I always had a caring nurturing spirit. I’ll put others needs before mines. I’m still like that til this day. I like to make others happy and feel good, that’s what makes me happy. I’ve always been full of ambition anything I wanted to do; I did. I would work hard to get what I wanted.
I had my twins at the age of 16. I was young and a sophomore in high school. I worked while pregnant to take care of my babies. I graduated high school and college. Many people counted me out for having my babies young. But I worked hard for them I got my certified nursing assistance then 10 years later nursing license, and now business owner. My babies were my motivation. I always worked hard to provide for them.
At the age of 23 I lost my mother, my best friend. That was like the hardest thing I ever had to do was bury my mom. She was my everything. She was a strong hard working loving women. I am her! I’m
a spitting image of my mom. She taught me so much. I lost my father at 3 so she was mom & dad. I took care of her on her death bed. Cancer took her from me. Rest In Peace Laura Green
