Check Out Nick Stevenson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Stevenson.

Hi Nick, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started this podcast originally as a hobby to better understand audio engineering. Then the positive feedback I have received from it made me put more focus into it and make it into a local brand where can fully understand a local perspective of The Holy City.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not smooth. Spent hours on YouTube learning editing techniques for sound. Challenging yourself to come up with content worth listening too. Buying the right equipment and learning how to use it. Learning marketing strategies on a low budget. Learn about trademarking, copyrights, and licensing. How to effectively use social media. Just the grind to keep at it. Pure Perseverance.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have work in Food & beverage the last few years which is why the F&B industry has large influence on my podcast. I am an Air Force veteran which I was an aircraft mechanic and I’m currently in school finishing up my degree in Cybersecurity. I’m a busy guy but I love all the experiences from all of my activities!

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is knowing I had a positive impact in someone’s life. Rather it’s advice, some form of action or just being a person, they can come to for a vent session. It’s been constant in all phases of my life and I hope it remains the same moving forward.
