Thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstories.
Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, music was only a passion of mine once I got to high school. I listened to music throughout my life and never became an artist. A couple of friends told me to try it, so I did. Everything ended up going well as a start, so I took it seriously; fans started to engage more with my music as my career grew. I’m taking trips from state to state, doing shows, shooting visuals, and dropping mixtapes until I sign my deal to release my first album, and here I am today.
You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
The grind has been good so far; everything you’re doing as a career to be successful comes with trials and tribulations, so I don’t complain; if you’re striving for some and it doesn’t come with some challenges, it might not be the best result in the end, but it’s only to prepare for the best position for you to be successful.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I love making music and being an artist sharing my life experiences and what I go through to help others. Being a versatile& creative artist sets me apart from others. Where I come from, not many get the opportunity and experience what I’ve experienced so far; this is only the being of a superstar.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up wasn’t sweet, but I made the best of it, but my mother made sure I had my needs. I didn’t get everything I wanted, which makes me strive for such an extensive career and big things in life because I always wanted my family to be good forever, and I knew I would be something, but I didn’t know what it would be. Playing basketball was a thing for me as a kid and always will be, but as I got older, I wasn’t mentally there, and music kept me sane, so eventually, I fell in love and had a passion for music.
