Hi Kristen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My name is Kristen Head and I was born and raised in Charleston, SC! I’m an authentic redhead and a product and beauty influencer. I created the “TheKristenHead” website and blog in 2019.
I was 19 years old and just got the idea one day I wanted to share my daily life on social media. It turned into me sharing blogs, vlogs, and beauty product reviews over the course of a year.
I grew a 6700 social media following in the past 2 years. Since then, I have focused more on my Instagram influence and taken a mini-break from writing blogs. I love sharing my life on the internet and to my “Instagram fam” as I call them!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road. Social media isn’t always amazing. People can say anything behind a screen. As an influencer, you’re putting yourself out there for everyone to judge and give an opinion on who you are.
You have to remember that people’s negative thoughts and opinions don’t matter when you’re being your authentic self. Don’t give up on your goals and what you want regardless of the negativity you might encounter.

On the side of influencing, I’m a spa consultant in Charleston.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I loved shoes, fashion, and makeup growing up. It’s where I get my passion for beauty products from.
