Hi Jasmine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In the midst of getting a reminder of your mortality, this can force you to actually do the things you say that you are going to do. After getting diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018, I decided to move forward with bringing my dream to fruition and create my business in January 2019. I decided to join my love of gemstones and their metaphysical properties, my ability to create beautiful jewelry pieces, and my gift of intuition and foresight to create Wi-her Jewelry & Readings LLC. Within this business I offer handmade gemstone jewelry and tarot card readings as well as now I have incorporated candles with a hidden gemstone on the inside or a piece of jewelry on the inside that can be discovered once the candle is burned.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggle is entirely too real. Between trying to maintain my full-time job and my business, I haven’t been able to realize the full potential of my business. My full-time job has me essentially away from my home approximately 275 days a year in which I am in a different state 30 days at a time in which I get a 7-day break when I return home. With the rise in social media i.e. the constant need to show up online, maintain your presence, follow trends and attend events in order to raise awareness of my brand, it has been hard prioritizing this with my limited time. Funding has also been an issue as I have funded my business from my savings and reinvested my earnings from my sales as I didn’t want to rely solely on a loan to support my business during its start-up.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in handmade creations with gemstones as the crux of their creation. I am known for my cute stylish jewelry, spot-on tarot readings, and my beautifully decorated handmade soy candles with a surprise hidden inside. I am most proud of my abilities to create unique looks and my knack for amazing color combinations. I love the oooooooooos and ahhhhhssss that people make as they look at my creations. What sets me apart from others is the packaging and quality of the components that go into making my jewelry and candles.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
My products are currently available on my online website www.wiherjewelry.com and I am currently in two stores locally, Avatar Essentials and Raw Essence Natural Soaps. I would like to expand in other shops locally and in other cities as well via a wholesale opportunity. I would also love to collaborate with wedding planners and event planners as a way to incorporate my products within the packages offered to their customers.
