Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Bazile. They and their team shared their story with us below:
A native of Louisiana, Gregory Bazile is a director, writer, producer, and businessman who studied filmmaking in New York City. Throughout his career, Gregory has worked on numerous film projects and Off-Broadway plays, where he directed his first independent film. Upon returning to the South, Gregory was allowed to become a student in the real estate industry. And after years of training and understanding the home construction business, he became a licensed general contractor building residence homes ranging from 1400 sq. ft. starter homes to 16,000 square foot estate properties. Upon the economic crash of the housing market, Gregory again put his entrepreneurial spirit to work and shifted from real estate to food service. Putting his passion for fast food, Gregory set out to become a fast-food restaurant franchisee and operated three restaurants. He later transitioned from being a franchisee to the sole owner of his chain of restaurants named Fresh Burger.
Our Story
The Fresh Burger Brand was created to develop a Hamburger chain of the freshest, tastiest, and juiciest Hamburgers. And when we say fresh, tasty, and juicy, we mean it. Fresh Burger was developed and featured Fresh Hand Pattied Burgers served Hot Off The Grill with fresh, tasty toppings and built Gourmet crafted signature Buns.
Why “Fresh Burger?”
We are called Fresh Burger for several reasons, one of which is the freshness of our foods. We serve Tasty Built Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Wings, Salads, Wraps, and Great French Fries. You can also try out our Specialty Built wraps. Our Garden Fresh Salads with great dressing from Naturally Fresh are simply delicious. To accompany our Great Sandwiches, did I mention our Famous Chicken Wings?
We have 8 Interesting flavors for the individual or that next gathering of 2 to 20- Hot, Medium, Mild, BBQ, Carribean Jerk, Ranch, Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper. So if your taste buds are on fire for a different restaurant of choice, visit us for a taste buds explosion of flavor! Welcome to the home of great meals. Welcome to Fresh Burger. In 2019, Gregory revisited his “true love” of filmmaking by producing independent comedy web-series films “Order Up” and “The Shop,” which he began filming in its second season.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart! It’s been numerous sleepless nights, and the struggles have been extremely tough. I had to live in your car for months to pursue my dream and make my way. When you are an entrepreneur, there needs to be a blueprint for success. I had to learn how to wear many hats at one time. From learning marketing, SEO optimization, social media, and any way possible to get the name of your business out. The most challenging part is finding the resources to fill your dreams. However, I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world! There’s nothing like making your way in the world and building something that comes out of your head from scratch to a real live business.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve always wanted to be a filmmaker on my life. I studied filmmaking in New York City and loved every aspect of it. However, I quickly discovered how expensive and complicated the entertainment industry can be. I quickly learned that I needed to find something that would pay the bills and allow me to pursue my dreams as a filmmaker. Initially, that took me to learn the construction business, where I have thrived for years and have given up on ever producing, directing, or writing films. While working at my restaurant in Anderson, South Carolina, I met two filmmakers who frequent my restaurant weekly. After having numerous conversations with them, it relit the fire to Produce, correct, and write films again. I still need to start Fresh Burger, my own independent restaurant Brand. I wanted to start something different than other restaurants. What sets Fresh Burger apart from other quick-serve restaurants?

No matter what obstacles come through, God has always blessed me with the fortitude to keep pushing forward and never give up. No matter how difficult and how many times I’ve had to cry myself to sleep, I never gave up. It goes for the filmmaking side as well. I have been very blessed to be given another opportunity to pursue my dreams of being a filmmaker. “The shop web series” is an independent comedy currently being shot in Greenville, South Carolina.
