Check Out Cheyenne Mac’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheyenne Mac.

Hi Cheyenne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a little girl, I dreamed about what life would be about and where I would be most valued in life. Being a child who was adopted, I had a curiosity that filled me and a passion to figure out who I really was as a human being. So, I knew I always wanted to reach others with the “if I can you can” attitude, and the only way I saw appropriate was to write and sing about it. Fast forward to 2018. I found out about an app called TikTok through, you guessed it, my daughter and the rest was history. I started wanting to tell my story and inspire others using their gifts and talents. I took the plunge and uploaded my first song cover clip and it received over 1 million views. My social media began to grow, and continues to grow. I became confident in sharing my story in hopes others would do the same. I realized about a year later that with the following, dedication and support of my followers, we set out a journey to make an impact in our city with the homeless community, women’s shelters, soup kitchens, Veteran communities and more. It became so popular we started reaching out to other charities to collaborate with them and it was successful. My mission was that despite your circumstances you can make a difference in someone’s life. No matter how big or small, we can choose kindness and unconditional love for even those who have nothing to give in return. Today, we like to set an example in the hope’s others will use their gifts and talents right in their own communities.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being in the social media world, nothing is ever easy. Of course, you will always have the doubters, naysayers, and people who will. Condemn you for the littlest of things. There were many times I wanted to give up and even doubted if this was something I even wanted to do. . However, I knew that I had other people depending on me to be their light and hope. I wasn’t going g to let fear and doubt bring down what my purpose was here in this world. I struggled through a season losing a very large social media account t of over 200k and wanting to call it quits. However, I looked at the obstacle and decided this was my motivation.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a singer and songwriter by trade that just had a passion for helping others and saw a need and took action. I am most proud of the fact that my talents have been noticed by some of the greatest in my book, singer-songwriters today. Such as Mitch Rossell and Edwin McCain!

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see my career really excelling. I have worked with some amazing and talented people. I have a lot in the works to new music, EP albums, plans to start my own charity for Veterans and Children with special needs and much more. This season through Covid has really allowed me to work on my career and allowed me to meet my amazing team of music producers, engineers and management team. Stay on the lookout because there is even a talk for a TV show about my life.
