Check Out Allison Horne’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Horne.

Hi Allison, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
It all started in quarantine and just kept going! I always thought about it but knew that if I was ever going to start a style blog, it would have to be when I had a lot of extra time on my hands. So, I spent my days at home doing a lot of research, setting up a website, and learning SEO.

Agnes was my grandmother’s middle name and she was quite the fashionista back in the day, so it is fitting that I named my style blog after her!

Now that the blog itself is established and I am growing my Instagram following, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with some of my favorite brands for collaborations including LOFT, Spartina449, Tail Activewear, and Keds Shoes. I also really enjoy partnering with local boutiques and have met so many other creative entrepreneurs.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I operate the blog as a business and the challenge of learning how to be a businesswoman has been eye-opening! When I started, I had no idea how time-consuming creating content would be. I finally found my rhythm after some trial-and-error attempts.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an everyday girl who loves a good sale! I mostly share affordable everyday outfits, the occasional splurge and fun lifestyle finds. Last Christmas I shared over 100 gift ideas and that was a big hit with my audiences! I love helping people find the perfect gift for someone special.
