Rising Stars: Meet Whitsa Jean of Online

Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitsa Jean.

Whitsa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Whitsa and I am an artist, natural health practitioner and content creator. It was during my childhood that I discovered my passion for everything related to the performing arts. “I’m going to become an actor-singer-dancer” is what I always said. But the general belief in society was that these passions were not realistic and that I needed something to fall back on. So, I went to school and got a certificate in administration, which allowed me to start working right away in the corporate world.

When I became a single mom, I needed to find a way to balance my responsibilities and my passions. Since the music world embraced me, I juggled single motherhood like a champ and kept my passions alive. I would imagine myself touring around the world with my children by my side, embodying the perfect example for them of how good life can be if you just pursue your dreams and make it work!
As my children grew, I happily left the performing arts world to focus on helping them in their own passions. I focused on family life and it felt so good. But years later, something strange happened: I no longer wanted to perform. And that alone put me in a state of complete confusion. It took many years and alot of self-reflection to realize that my passions had shifted into everything natural health oriented, travel and dreams of living abroad.

For a long time I wanted to escape my life living in a country with mostly cold weather and very little sunshine. My attempts to move out of Canada had always been deterred by my considering other people’s needs before my own. Of course, I will never regret choosing my children as they have been the driving force behind every good thing that I wanted, even for myself, but my soul was struggling. I felt trapped and experienced seasonal affective disorder for a good 5-6 months out of every year. It affected every aspect of my life negatively until I finally took the leap in 2023. I sold everything I owned in Canada, left my corporate job after 24 years of service, and moved to Mexico.

It took me 20 years to make this dream of mine happen. And even though I still struggle sometimes with missing my children, who stayed in Canada with their fathers, I am happy and very proud of the brave move I made. I had to go through it to realize my own strength and my unwavering trust in the divine forces guiding me on this journey. I still don’t know exactly where I’m headed, but I know that it is going to be somewhere amazing! I am guided to step fully into my life purpose. It’s a sometimes scary ride to be on, but the more I experience beautiful synchronicities and make wonderful connections with people from different parts of the world, the more I rest assured that my mission is a big one and not only am I right on track, I’m in the right place, in the right divine time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As my journey has been a highly spiritual one, the struggles I’ve experienced have been related to my ability to trust my intuition. I had to move out of two different countries within a year, so it was very intense and scary at times, but I stayed present and took every step I needed to make one at a time. I would say that the emotional part of it was the hardest to handle.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Natural Health Practitioner specialized in detoxification. I am trained in different modalities like Sound Therapy and Deep Tissue Restorative Therapy which helps people heal from emotional and physical pain and avoid surgery.
I am not yet known for it as I’ve been developing my business model while traveling. But I will soon be stepping into that role in addition to my content creation on YouTube.

What does success mean to you?
For me success is living a life that I choose and finding happiness every day. Success to me is a life of freedom.
